At the head of this collective, where musicians meet for the love of art, stands Jérôme Caron, the band leader.
After several productions (e.g. NRK, Yellow Productions and Freerange) and remixes (Bang Bang, Vista Le Vie), Black Joy offers an entrancing organic funk with his title « HEADPHONE DRONE », featuring the texts and the voice of Général Elektriks. You can feel his Funk/Soul and Pop inspiration through this hybrid production which is, above all, a foretaste of his first album.
Particular mention must be made to Blundetto's remix, who made a real mixing of electronic music and reggae.
Supported by three musicians faithful to the project (Thomas Naïm,
guitarist, François Faure on keyboards and Guillaume Farley, bass
guitarist), Black Joy released his first album named « TIME ».
