Peppermint Candy is the alias of Project Rec. originator David Ohanessian. Besides the musical work of his Detroit heroes, he used to turn up as a Drum'n'bass DJ for one of the most respected parisian broadcasters during the 90's : Radio FG. While he moved in Paris' hottest record store Rough Trade (R.I.P), David started his musical works alongside Pierre Galli and created the Art Ensemble project, including two releases acclaimed by the scene on the underestimated Artefact imprint. A couple of months and one nervous breakdown later, he launched Project Recordings with the highly worldwide acclaimed Chocolate Girl EP.

Peppermint Candy has contributed to his own imprint by remixing Future Beat Alliance's "Broken Promise".
