Biography

Julien Jabre is a french music producer.

Julien has started his life in music by DJing in the early 90's alongside the likes of Alex from Tokyo, DJ Grégory and DJ Deep. He has teamed up with the latest and together have been responsible for some classic tunes on french Basenotic imprint (under "The Deep" alias) before going solo on french house label Basic Recordings. By releasing worldwide acclaimed tracks like "Voodance", "The Jungle" and "Same & Better", Julien had build up a strong reputation and gathered at the time respect from the whole house music scene.

With DJ Grégory, he worked on the "Soha" project, and by delivering house anthems like "Les enfants du bled" or "Amour" , Soha has, still as of today, build something unique of its genre.

Julien then launched his own imprint, Elias Music, in 2002, and his music has took another dimension with releases of huge floor killers like "War" and, of course, "Swimming Places".

Julien now works as a composer and as a producer for various songwriters.

His contribution for Project Rec. was the worldwide acclaimed Mood 2 Swing flavour remix of Peppermint Candy "Chocolate Girl".
